B Corp

Certified B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

Circular Economy

The circular economy is a system where materials never become waste and nature is regenerated. In a circular economy, products and materials are kept in circulation through processes like maintenance, reuse, refurbishment, remanufacture, recycling, and composting.

Non-for-profit

A non-profit organisation or nonprofit institution, is a legal entity organised and operated for a collective, public or social benefit, in contrary with an entity that operates as a business aiming to generate a profit for its owners.

regenerative

Regenerative business means promoting the restoration and regeneration of natural resources and social systems.

rena

rena means ‘clean’ in Swedish and is the name of our website.

root-to-fruit

Root to fruit (or root to stem) dining is a food philosophy that encourages people to think, not just about the provenance of their food, but its environmental impact, from the growing or rearing stage to the moment it reaches your plate and beyond.

Social Enterprise

A Social Enterprise is a trading business – selling goods and services – but who’s primary objective is to achieve social and/or environmental benefit.

Solar Panels

A solar panel is a device that converts sunlight into electricity by using photovoltaic (PV) cells.

Solar Thermal

Solar thermal energy is a form of energy and a technology for harnessing solar energy to generate thermal energy. Solar thermal turns sunlight into heat instead of power.

A not-for-profit, membership organisation, based in the UK, which aids food-service businesses to work towards sustainability in their sector and guides customers towards more sustainable choices.
